Selective Search are currently looking for an experienced Sales Director with a specific background/understanding of Application Outsourcing (SAP/Oracle).

This role will be responsible for driving sales of predominantly Applications Management solutions across a range of industry sectors. This role will promote our client in the market and will build relationships with customers and IT Services partners promoting the brand in the Application Management space. 

 

You will be responsible for creating and driving your own pipeline, in line with the business unit’s overall business strategy & direction. 

 

The focus of this person will be on mid-sized Applications Management deals ( £7m to £50m+) involving multiple technologies (e.g. ERP, Mainframe, Legacy and COTS) and will be focused on new client acquisition and driving growth into new name logos.

 

You will be an experienced business developer, with a proven sales track record in the IT services industry.  

  • Experience of selling SAP or Oracle.
  • Must have worked for large organisations in sales role during the last 3 years, responsible for Business Development in the Application Management space.
  • You will have personally led & sold at least three referencible Application Management Deals to FTSE 350 / Fortune 500 organisations.
  • Must be comfortable leading CIO / IT Director level business meetings.
  • You will have worked on large Application Management deals involving deal advisory firms and demonstrate familiarity with complex Application Management sales cycles.
  • Ideally well versed with commercial models, estimation techniques, pricing trends, TUPE regulations, crafting complex MSA & SOW documents.
  • Essential to have sold Application Management solutions involving service delivery from Nearshore / Offshore locations outside UK.

Job Description:

Our client is a multi-billion dollar Systems and Technical integrator with an impressive high profile within the SI enterprise space. This is a rare opportunity to run and manage their most successful sales teams and strategic relationships.

Candidates will need to develop and deliver business plans to agreed targets and budgets, working with the VP of Sales and the CEO. You will be responsible for managing and leading as established successful sales team.
Develop innovative and creative marketing and sales campaigns for solutions, and collaborate with other Enterprise Solutions practices to offer combined solutions that can be taken to the channel market and sold as a sell through value proposition or joint venture.
Manage and work with the specialist overlay sales teams from within the business

Provide early warnings of key strategic commercial changes to the business in order for the partners to take competitive advantage, including developing sufficient influence within the partner’s client base helping shape the outcome of policies and share of wallet.
Build joint sales campaigns and account plans with the channels sales force and senior management team.
Drive and co-ordinate product and services capability and margin generation with new and existing channel relationships and end user enterprise accounts.

You will be responsible for sustaining and developing business for key Infrastructure service Solutions through alliances with the Tier 1 System Integrators and channel partners. Build vertically focused solution stacks based on technology managed services.
Manage and cultivate senior key business relationships within the SI’s and partners you will also be engaging with Solutions architect, service architects to measure and keep on top of delivery. Lease with professional services, legal and technical departments to ensure continuity of message.
Understand and communicate value propositions internally to the Group.

Ensure that the SI’s and partnerships that are newly recruited complement the strategic value propositions and ensure that we are culturally aligned as potential business partners.
Develop and execute sales and marketing plans with SI’s and partners in line with our client’s Group direction
Cultivate relationships with key individuals and departments within our client to evangelise about the commercial outcome we are trying to achieve.
Maintain internal communication with our client’s senior management team about accurate business forecasting and potential sell through pipeline.
Agree and deliver revenue targets within agreed timescales.
Manage pipeline, provide Revenue Report and track ROI by each SI or partner.
Establish and manage sales champions.
Create tactical and creative mind share campaigns for the channel.
Manage your time effectively between working on and off site, organising internal resource for deliverables and down loading forecasts to the Partners and the business.

They are looking to recruit an experienced New Business Sales Executive dedicated to Insurance Product offerings within the UK and London Markets. This is a new business role but does demand elements of account management going forward. The role is responsible for identifying, leading, managing and closing large Insurance software deals.

- Sales of existing insurance software products Genius, IRIS, Elgar, Brokasure and new XIAP based products.
