Service providers are looking for new ways to enter the market for IaaS – providing compute-on-demand, network-on-demand and storage-on-demand for their customers.

Our Clients work with Service Providers to provide them with the tools, design guides and advanced services to be able to “fast-track” the implementation of IaaS offerings. The benefits to this is that they are able to develop a service with greater confidence and are then able to realize revenues faster than would have otherwise been possible.

Infrastructure as a Service is a model in which an organization outsources the equipment used to support operations, including storage, hardware, servers and networking components. The service provider owns the equipment and is responsible for housing, running and maintaining it. The client typically pays on a per-use basis.

IaaS is one of three main categories of cloud computing service. The other two are Software as a Service (SaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS).
Infrastructure as a Service is sometimes referred to as Hardware as a Service (HaaS).
